LESO (Lesbian Support Organisation Inc.) was a non-profit group of volunteers from the Auckland lesbian community.
Responsible for organising the Auckland Lesbian Ball and as a non-profit organisation, LESO was funded entirely by the proceeds of the annual Auckland Lesbian Ball. The long-running Auckland Lesbian Ball has an uncertain future. LESO, decided earlier this year it had served its purpose, and it was time to call it a day for the organisation. It expressed hope someone would take up the challenge of producing events like the Ball in the future.
